My Name is Vanessa Davies and I am passionate about geography. I am attracted to it because it's all about contested places. What is a contested place? It's an area of space that has more than one claim, more than one meaning, or has a larger symbolic meaning. My photography is about moments in time in places that are contested - for me or others.
